About Agricole

Agricole grew from the expressed need from farmers for unbiased combinable crop information from an impartial source. The farmers wanted their own 'Private grain trader', working for them.

A weekly newsletter was instigated, which still remains today. Crops were marketed or brokered on a NO WIN, NO FEE basis, and still are. No crop tonnage commitment was wanted. It still isn't. Trade what you like, when you like.

Hours of business: When clients ring.

Agricole's aims:

  • To achieve the highest prices on any day, for whichever combinable crop is traded
  • To ensure that whenever crops are sold, that that decision is not proved incorrect over the 30 months that trading of any harvest is possible.
  • To help establish a long-term sustainable margin for its client.
  • To increase awareness of combinable crop markets

Grain Market Report

Agricole publishes a weekly Grain Market Report providing market information on combinable crops. This is a weekly report designed to be an 'aide memoir' not a PhD. Established in 1993, it is probably the longest running independent report for farmers.

The Market report is chargeable but the first month is FREE.
